منتخب الجمهورية التشيكية لكرة القدم هو ممثل الجمهورية التشيكية الرسمي في رياضة كرة القدم، ويشرف عليه الاتحاد التشيكي لكرة القدم المتأسس في عام 1901، والمنضم إلى الفيفا في عام 1907 م.
قبل الحرب العالمية الأولى كانت الجمهورية التشيكية جزءا من الاتحاد الملكي بين النمسا وهنغاريا وكانت الجمهورية التشيكية تعرف آنذاك باسم بوهيميا. عندما كانت الجمهورية التشيكية جزءا من تشيكوسلوفاكيا أحرز ذلك الفريق المرتبة الثانية في نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم عامي 1934، 1962 وأحرز كأس الأمم الأوروبية لكرة القدم عام 1976 م. تأهلت التشيك لنهائيات كأس العالم 2006المقامة في ألمانيا لأول مرة بصعوبة فقد أنهى الفريق التصفيات كثاني مجموعته بعد هولندا ليخوض الملحق الأوروبي المؤهل لكأس العالم. ووقعت التشيك في جولة الملحق أمام النرويج، لكنها فازت عليها ذهابا وإيابا بنتيجة 1-0 ليكون مجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب 2-0.
بعد انقسام تشيكوسلوفاكيا إلى سلوفاكيا والجمهورية التشيكية لعب منتخب الجمهورية التشيكية لكرة القدم أولى مبارياته الدولية مع تركيا في عام 1994 وفاز بنتيجة 4-1 وحاز على المرتبة الثانية في نهائيات كأس الأمم الأوروبية لكرة القدم عام 1996 ووصلت إلى مرحلة النصف النهائي عام 2004. مدرب الفريق هو كاريل بروكنر الذي نجح في تدريب منتخبات الفئات العُمرية، قبل أن يستلم مقاليد المنتخب الأول من المدرب الشهير شوفانيك عام 2002.
من أبرز اللاعبين (سواء المعتزلين أم غير المعتزلين) بافيل نيدفيد الذي يلعب لنادي يوفنتوس وتوماس روزيسكي الذي يلعب لنادي آرسنال. قائد الفريق هو توماس جالاسيك المحترف في صفوف أياكس أمستردام الهولندي. ويمثل اللاعب البالغ من العمر 33 عاما محور ارتكاز خط وسط التشيك لما يتمتع به من قدرة على إمداد زملائه بالكرات التي تساعدهم على التقدم للهجوم, ومن اللاعبين البارزين يان كولر وكارل بوبورسكي وبيتر تشيك. يعتبر ميلان باروش من مواليد العام 1981 من النجوم الواعدة سجل 26 هدفاً في 44 مباراة له مع منتخب بلاده. يلعب في صفوف نادي ليون بعد أن كان يلعب في صفوف ليفربولومن بعده أستون فيلا..

L'équipe d'Allemagne de football, (en allemand Deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft), est constituée par une sélection des meilleurs joueurs allemands sous l'égide de la DFB. Cet organisme, fédération de l'Allemagne unifiée avant la création de la République démocratique allemande, n'avait autorité que sur le football de la RFA de 1949 à 1990 et a ensuite repris son rôle pan-allemand. Le premier match de l'équipe allemande réunifiée a lieu le 19 décembre 1990 à Stuttgart contre la Suisse. Pendant son existence, l'équipe nationale est-allemande était sous l'autorité de sa propre Fédération, la Fédération d'Allemagne de l'Est de football. La Nationalmannshaft compte un des plus beaux palmarès du football mondial avec sept finales de Coupe du monde dont trois remportées (1954, 1974 et 1990) et six finales de championnat d'Europe pour là aussi trois victoires (1972, 1980 et 1996). Elle a été la 3e équipe de l'histoire à remporter le trophée planétaire (après l'Uruguay et l'Italie), et la première à réaliser le doublé Championnat d'Europe-Championnat du monde en 1972 et 1974. L'Allemagne a par ailleurs terminé les trois dernières éditions de la compétition planétaire sur le podium (2e en 2002, 3e en 2006 et en 2010).
Sur la réussite de la sélection à travers l'histoire, une citation du footballeur anglais Gary Lineker est restée célèbre : « Le football est un jeu simple : 22 hommes courent après un ballon durant 90 minutes, et à la fin, c'est toujours l'Allemagne qui gagne ».
L’équipe du Kazakhstan de football est constituée par une sélection des meilleurs joueurs kazakhs sous l'égide de la Fédération du Kazakhstan de football. Le Kazakhstan faisait autrefois partie de l'AFC, et est membre de l'UEFA depuis 2002.

The Albania national association football team is the national association football team of Albania and is controlled by the Football Association of Albania. Although not considered as one of the strongest footballing sides in Europe, Albanians are passionate about their football and the national team has occasionally managed to perform well against more illustrious opponents.
Founded on June 6, 1930, Albania had to wait 16 years to play the first international match, debuting against Yugoslavia in 1946. In 1932, Albania had already joined FIFA (during the congress June 12 — June 16) and in 1954, it was one of the founding members of UEFA. Albania had been invited to play in 1934 World Cup, but owing to organizing difficulties, it didn't take part.
In addition to the senior football team, Albania also has teams of U21, U19, U17 and U15 level. One of the most successful is the feeder of the senior team, the U21 level. استقال أوتو باريتش من تدريب منتخب ألبانيا لكرة القدم عقب هزيمة الفريق 6 – 1 أمام رومانيا في تصفيات كأس الأمم الأوروبية 2008 يوم الأربعاء.
وقال الاتحاد الألباني لكرة القدم في بيان له: "بعد مراجعة حالة الفريق قال باريتش إنه لم يعد قادراً على تولي تدريب الفريق وأنه لا يمتلك القوة الكافية للعمل مع المنتخب الألباني بعد الآن".
ويعد باريتش ثالث مدرب أجنبي يتولى تدريب المنتخب الألباني منذ التسعينات عقب الإيطالي جيوسيبي دوسينا والألماني هانس بيتر بريغيل وقبل الاتحاد الألباني لكرة القدم استقالة باريتش وشكره على إسهاماته مع الفريق الذي قال باريتش إنه قدم عروضا جيدة خلال تصفيات كأس الأمم الأوروبية 2008 باستثناء آخر خسارتين أمام روسيا البيضاء ورومانيا وأنهت ألبانيا التصفيات في المركز الخامس في المجموعة السابعة برصيد 11 نقطة من 12 مباراة.
